Welcome to my APBA Baseball simulation site. I started simming with the APBA in 2001, and thanks to the

many helpful APBA enthusiasts, have been having a great time ever since. I recently completed my first (and

very big project), which was an all time NY Yankees League. I am now in the process of running World Series

replays right from the begining in 1903. Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions and be

sure to check out my links page, where you'll find links to many great APBA related sites.

PROJECT INFORMATION

NY YANKEES LEAGUE: A project I started at the completion of the 2001 season. I have included 98 Yankees teams imported straight from the Bill James Encyclopedia CD (up to 1995), and thanks to Skeeter Soft for providing me with the rest. The set up is relatively simple: four leagues, two divisions per league, 12 teams per division. Each division plays within itself, a 154 game season with fatigue and game injuries only. The post season matches the first place division teams in a best of five series. The winners then advance to the best of seven series and the final two teams played in the "World Series", a best of seven series to determine the "best" Yankees team ever. The results were pretty interesting.

WORLD SERIES REPLAYS: Starting with 1903, I'm using the actual lineups (thanks to Retrosheet.org) to replay the past World Series, as well as play Series for 1904 and eventually 1994, when there were no World Series held. I have used the appropriate managing styles (thanks to Steve Galbraith for providing the numerous micromanagers for this purpose), and the games have been replayed on the actual dates and in the correct stadiums they were played in historically. This is a chance to see if the Yankees can win even more Championships (or less if you're a bonafide "Yankee-hater"), see if the curse of the Bambino or the Billy Goat exists in cyberspace, and to see what could have happened in 1919, if the Sox didn't intentionally lose the Series. I am trying to run off at least one Series a week, more if time permits.

Thanks for visiting, hope you enjoy my work.
